# Build OpenCV 4.5.2 with freetype library

- did you install [freetype and harfbuzz](https://github.com/opencv/opencv_contrib/tree/master/modules/freetype) dependancies ?
- yes, you need ` WITH_FREETYPE=ON`
- please show the _complete_ cmake console output (rather long, but it has hints)
- make sure, you use _exactly_ the same version for both opencv main and contrib repos (if you want to use 4.5.2, check out the 4.5.2 branch in contrib, too !)
