The Oak-D examples simply fail when the Oak-D camera is not attached to the system. What should I look for in my USB enumeration to detect if the Oak-D camera is present. I looked through all the enumerated USB devices (there are many) and I didn’t see anything that appeared to be the Oak-D.
You can detect the presence of the Oak-D camera if you find “Movidius MyriadX”. There is no guarantee that this will always work. Presumably there are other platforms using the Movidius product from Intel. There is no USB enumeration for the camera which is surprising.
