# Freetype2 module unavailable

I build OpenCV 4.6.0 from source code on Ubuntu 18.04, all extra modules which I need installed successfully except freetype2, How to fix it? thanks

Should I install any dependence before freetype2 ?

please also note, that upcoming opencv 5 will have [builtin truetype fonts](https://github.com/opencv/opencv/pull/18760) in imgproc
