# Issues on building OpenCV 5.0.0

I built couple version of 4.xx successfully but there are some issues on building OpenCV 5 in same way.

1. there is a link error on building gapi, I need to add “ws2\_32.lib” dependency manually
2. the built library format is “dll.a” but not “lib”, I need to change their suffix manually (and then works)

**env** : cmake 4.0.0, MSVC 2019

disabled:** BUILD\_opencv\_dnn, BUILD\_PERF\_TESTS, BUILD\_TESTS
