I believe the official repo had startup code to how to load and interpret the dataset. I was not able to find it in the getting started section

I think you are talking about [GitHub - intrinsic-ai/ipd: Owner: agastyak@](https://github.com/intrinsic-ai/ipd) repo, not the [GitHub - opencv/bpc: Codebase for Perception Challenge For Bin-Picking](https://github.com/opencv/bpc). The data in [GitHub - intrinsic-ai/ipd: Owner: agastyak@](https://github.com/intrinsic-ai/ipd) is a bit different and structured completely differently (and is not available while the challenge is active), so I’d recommend using the tools from [GitHub - opencv/bpc: Codebase for Perception Challenge For Bin-Picking](https://github.com/opencv/bpc), as well as [GitHub - thodan/bop\_toolkit: A Python toolkit of the BOP benchmark for 6D object pose estimation.](https://github.com/thodan/bop_toolkit)
