Commercial vs printed calibration boards

Hello,

I’m trying to calibrate a multi-camera setup for research. Is there a significant difference between using commercial calibration patterns (like Calib.io) or hand-made patterns (printed at home or at a print shop)? I’ll probably try with both chessboard and charuco patterns.

Does anyone have specific recommendations for companies or processes to make a good calibration target?

We would be shipping to the US.

Thanks,
Chris
