Detection of specific areas

Hello.
Could you please tell me how to solve my problem?
I need to detect white rectangular areas like in the attached photo.
I thought to use yolo but is there any other (simpler) way to detect such areas in the image?
Best regards
Marcus

take a look on opencv/digits_video.py at 4.x · opencv/opencv · GitHub

i made a small changes like below and the result is
frame

it is just a starting point to work on.

#!/usr/bin/env python
'''
Digit recognition from video.

Run digits.py before, to train and save the SVM.

Usage:
  digits_video.py [{camera_id|video_file}]
