I am trying to detect the 56 filaments seen in some threads in this microscope cross-sectional image using OpenCV. However, it sometimes falsely counts round, bright spots on the glass coverslip where the thread is laid.
In the other image—which shows screenshots of the C# program I developed running on a dual-monitor setup—I am trying to measure the length, waist, and 25% region of a peanut-shaped filament, but I am encountering errors. While the Cellpose library doesn’t cause issues with counting, it significantly increases processing time. The YBOT software shown in the example image also uses OpenCV.
