Hi, I want to build an app for android. It is my school project. I want to match two android phones and get a notification when one of them gets far away (it should be optional like 100 meters). Phones should communicate with CLOUD. I can use MQTT protocol.

The project you describe can’t possibly require OpenCV. You need to find a different forum for this.

You need to use the phone’s APIs to get its geographic location.

“tracking” is the wrong term for that.
