Looking for an expert to develop a surround view algorithm

I am looking for an expert in computer vision to help me develop an algorithm for the surround view system, or at least help me fill in holes in my reasoning and my knowledge. My biggest problem is extrinsic calibration and how to place camera images in the world, but I am not sure that my intrinsic calibration is 100% correct.

I want to just put charuco markers on the ground, and the system should be able to calibrate itself (extrinsic, not intrinsic calibration).

I tried to implement it in python, and I got some scripts that are doing intrinsic and extrinsic calibrations, but I think that I am lacking knowledge in computer vision to finalize it properly.

The final implementation will be c++ with opengl, but I think creating a prototype in python or c++ would be ok.

I would prefer someone in the CET time zone, but I guess other time zones would also be fine.

The last thing: this would be paid.

Hi Vladimir,

Surround view systems and camera calibration are right up my alley. I have solid experience with CharuCo markers, intrinsic and extrinsic calibration, and getting everything to play nicely in OpenGL.

Would be happy to take a look at what you have so far and help you get it across the finish line.

You can reach out to me on my email here
