Most of the files found in the /data/ folder are over 14 years old. And I wondered if there is any information on who produced them and how. The improved frontal face lbp cascade is fairly well documented. But I couldn’t find and information on the others.
I think its a great decision to finally move this data folder in the 5.0 release. A folder named data right at the root containing only a handful of mostly ancient files is somewhat silly
