How to open webcam using opencv in google colab?

cap=cv2.VideoCapture(0)
it is not working and not giving any frames please help

you can’t. colab is google servers. google servers don’t have webcams attached to them.

you can find answers to this on google because this question has been asked for as long as colab exists.

again, you cannot use cv.VideoCapture on colab.

however, they came up with a mockup js/html replacement,
have a look in the ‘code-snippets’ sidebar to find copy/paste ready code for this :wink:
