Open 16 and 24 bit image in Python

Hi everybody! I’m trying to open some 16 and 24 bit depth tiff images (3 channels) with openCV in Python but every time the image is scaled to 8bit. Is it possible to import and maintain the depth of the original image?

IMREAD_ANYDEPTH should work.
