Stereovision system

Hi all! I am preparing a stereo system with 2 usb cameras.
I have some problems:

  1. When I connect to 2 usb cameras via VideoCapture (in Ubuntu) I get a delay (less than 1 second). But I don’t have this problem on WIN.
  2. I tried to connect these cameras with streams, but in streams I need to get a lot of local variables and compare them with each other.
  3. Finally, when I get a depth map with two cameras, I get different depth values ​​with a large value error (for example, when the water bottle stands at 70 centimeters, the system said the water bottle stands at 2 meters, and after 1 second said that at 1.40). meter, etc.)
    Any ideas please for solving my case. Maybe you know about other cases for define depth without stereovision. Thanks everyone!
