From the contents of this link, we know that OpenCV initially published its documentation in Sphinx format. However, starting from OpenCV 3, it switched to publishing in Doxygen format.
May I ask, what was the reason behind the decision to change OpenCV’s documentation from Sphinx to Doxygen?

I think I asked a very silly question, because I had already seen the discussion link you provided. The question I should actually be asking is:
Is it possible for OpenCV to revert to using Sphinx to publish its documentation, or to publish documentation in both Sphinx and Doxygen formats?
