Documentation Improvement Required

I grew up learning Basic and moved onto pascal at school and learnt Perl for my programming projects…

But OpenCV is a different beast, especially in java it lacks in as comprehensive documentation, as do most things now compared to say modules on Perldoc!

It would be nice if more sample code existed and in cross language format and better generated documentation, by going back into the code and adding more Doxygen annotations.

Programming should be fun and more accessible, to those without paying $1,000+ on a course!

Discrimination and elitism just because the documentation isn’t self explanatory.

One way you can give back to the (free, BTW) project is to contribute documentation. As you encounter things that aren’t documented well, maybe consider writing up what you learned in a tutorial / sample code and contributing it to the project.
