How to recognize shoe upper and outsole in 3d rendering file separately

Hi.
I’m a non-developer and I’m studying openCV.
I’m working on analyzing 3D files of shoes using OpenCV. Is it possible without preprocessing?
Or if you know a possible approach, please let me know
