Hello,
I’ve just joined this excellent forum and I’m looking at the existing information regarding how to get started , how to post a question, etc.
I’ve done some searches using, for example “how to post a question” , but no luck
So … perhaps …
It would be helpful and valuable if there was more information and instructions made available to new joiners like myself regarding how to format questions and the correct ways to structure questions, comments, replies, etc.
And guidance regarding what is a “good question” and what is perhaps a " bad question" ?
That information could be added into the FAQ section , or automatically mailed to new users ?
I’m hesitant to just jump in and post a question , I don’t what to start off with a poorly structured question.
Thanks
helo, did you miss this ?
(… should have been ‘sticky’ when joining)
Hello, and thanks for your prompt reply.
Well yes, my searches did not find the text you pointed to.
It seems the discussions in that chain covers several aspects of the forum and at points within that flow other members suggested some similar improvements .
I think that supports my suggestion ?
Again, thanks for your help.
I’ll try to understand the “do’s” and “dont’s” and "How to do it correctly "
Many thanks
