• Extract robot TCP → get R- and T- Vector for the TCP.
• Take image of checkerboard → findCheckerBoard + solvePNP → get R- and T-Vector for the target w.r.t camera.
• Feed all of the input to the calculateHandEye-Function from OpenCV.

Yes, those are the the steps.
Do you reach any results close to what you expect?

Note: I have checked the rotation and translation vectors from solvePnP function with MATLAB app. The results are corresponding with each other.

Have you tried to model your frames like in Hand-eye Calibration - #8 by Eduardo?
