I would love to use the OpenCV DNN face detector for a commercial solution, and would love to know whether the model itself and the dataset is open source!
unless there’s an extra license coming with it, it is part of OpenCV, and OpenCV has a license (or two…) that governs its use.

the model you quote is open_face, a face recognition model (you have to look at the original site for licensing), different from the face detection one
author is quite vague here, however the opencv code is MIT/Apache2 licensed, all you have to find out is the data
