I am interested in creating an “active visual system” in which there is a single (monocular) camera which can pan and zoom to follow an object. There would also be a second camera which is just a wide angle camera (without zoom) which is used to maintain a low resolution view of the scene.
Is anybody aware of an existing project like this? (I’d prefer not to reinvent the wheel.)
